On May 9, the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Business Support announced that the city will organize a trade connection conference between businesses of Hue City and distributors in Ho Chi Minh City from May 23 to 25, 2025.

On the afternoon of May 8, in celebration of the 39th World Thalassemia Day (May 8, 1986 - May 8, 2025), the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Blue Blouse Club, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and benefactors organized an exchange program and presented gifts to Thalassemia patients receiving treatment at the hospital.

From April 26 to May 2nd, the Imperial Citadel will become the center of a series of special cultural - artistic activities with the theme “The Imperial Citadel shines, the royal flowers converge”, promising to attract thousands of tourist arrivals during the April 30 - May 1st holidays.

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday period, employees will benefit from an extended five-day consecutive vacation. Forecasts predict domestic tours will attract many visitors. Local tourism authorities, travel agencies, and hotels have prepared numerous products and services, ready to welcome tourists.

According to the plan recently issued by the People's Committee of Hue City, the 45th General Assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF) in Hue is expected to be held for three days (from April 27 to April 29, 2025).

It may seem easy to dream of a day when Gia Hoi “revives,” not only preserving its essence and cultural heritage values, but also seizing the opportunity for this ancient quarter to develop. On the morning of January 9, the Department of Tourism in collaboration with Chan May Port Joint Stock Company and Saigontourist Travel Services Co., Ltd held a program of welcoming the first cruise ship and tourists to Hue City by sea in 2025.
