The Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with a team of experts from the National Museum of History, has commenced the second phase of archaeological surveying and excavation at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site.

On the afternoon of May 15, at the Hue City People’s Committee headquarters, a sponsorship signing ceremony took place between the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2025 and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), marking BIDV’s collaboration in key cultural and tourism events during the National Tourism Year in Hue.

On the morning of May 10, the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Finance and Hue City Business Association held a ceremony to announce the digital platform “For Businesses”, which is integrated on Hue-S, and the “Digital Working” platform for the City Business Association Office and its members.

On May 10th, Hue - Urban Plastic Reduction in Central Vietnam Project (TVA Project), in coordination with the Department of Tourism and People's Committee of Thuy Thanh Commune (Huong Thuy Town), held the launch ceremony for the low-plastic tourism site at Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge.

On the morning of April 30th, Hue City People's Committee, the Department of Construction, and Hue City Project Management Board held the final girder closure ceremony for the Thuan An seaport overpass in Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

On the evening of April 28th, Thuan An Ward (Thuan Hoa District), and Thuan An Ward People’s Committee, held the opening ceremony of “Thuan An - Call of the Sea 2025” program.

On the afternoon of April 26, at the exhibition space on the 2nd floor of Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition themed “The odyssey of Vietnamese ceramics”. This event is part of Hue Festival 2025 and the National Tourism Year 2025.

On the afternoon of April 25, the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Thuan Hoa District, in collaboration with Hue City branch of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, organized the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition themed “Hue - A city bursting out with vitality”.

On the morning of April 19, Hue University held an inaugurating ceremony and put into operation the Library of the University of Economics, Hue University.
