In the early days of the new year 2025, the Year of the Snake, many places in the city organized exciting spring activities, including cultural and sports activities, as well as folk games and royal court games, etc.

During the journey to Hue at the beginning of the Year of Snake, many tourists consider the Hue Imperial Citadel as a must-visit destination. Despite the cold weather with occasional rain and sunshine, tourists still want to spend much time checking-in the Royal Citadel and immerse themselves into various activities to gain vivid feelings about the traditional Tet in the Ancient Capital.

For students, Tet is not only a time for celebration and family reunions but also an opportunity to share and support those in difficult circumstances. Many charitable activities organized by the school have “ignited a flame of love” in the students, spreading noble humanitarian values.

For the first time escaping the label of a poor district, the people of A Luoi joyfully participate in festival activities, embracing solidarity and sharing. Along with preserving cultural values, the local authorities are striving to reduce the number of impoverished households, develop livelihood models, and improve residents' quality of life.

Along with regular cultural activities, Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center has collaborated with a number of units and organizations to implement meaningful cultural programs, including seminars and workshops related to the preservation and promotion of Buddhist cultural heritage.

Along with innovations in investment promotion activities, the government’s support in promoting projects acts like a “magnet” attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises to Thua Thien Hue (now known as Hue City) (*).

In 2024, Hue Museum of Fine Arts welcomed nearly 63,000 visitors to its two art exhibition spaces as well as various thematic exhibitions and cultural-artistic activities.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2025) and create the joyful and exciting atmosphere to honor the glorious Party and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Thuan Hoa District will organize various activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring. These activities aim to meet the recreational needs of locals and tourists.

This was one of the highlights shared at a conference summarizing activities in 2024 and deploying tasks in 2025 of Hue City Hotel Association, which took place on the late afternoon of January 10. Attending the conference were leaders of departments, agencies of Hue City, Vietnam Tourism Association, and Hue City Tourism Association.

On the afternoon of January 3rd, the Department of Tourism held a conference to review its activities in 2024 and outline tasks for the tourism sector in 2025. Attending the event was Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
