Huong Giang Poetry Association continues to accompany Hue’s cultural life

Huong Giang Poetry Association presents commendations to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2025

In 2025, the Huong Giang Poetry Association maintained regular activities, organized exchanges, introduced new literary works, and participated in local cultural and artistic events. The Association carried out a number of programs such as Vietnam Poetry Day - Nguyen Tieu, Hue Poetry Festival, and organized a flower-offering ceremony and poetry music program at Ho Chi Minh Museum on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.

Alongside professional activities, the Association streamlined its organizational structure by consolidating its sub-associations. At present, it comprises two sub-associations and Hue Haiku Poetry Club. Over the past year, the Association celebrated its 45th anniversary (1980–2025) and received a certificate of merit from the Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

At the conference, the Association announced commendation decisions for collectives and members with notable achievements, and admitted new members. On this occasion, the Association also launched two poetry collections by its members: “Vong nho giot chieu” (Echoes of an Evening Drop) by Bui Van Dung and “Loi ru cua dat” (The Earth’s Lullaby) by Dao Xuan Hai, while introducing outstanding works created in recent times.
