On February 28, Hue Central Hospital informed that the hospital is receiving patients from across the country who are requiring to register for free plastic surgery through multiple channels. This activity is a part of the cooperation between the Interplast Delegation (Federal Republic of Germany) and the hospital.

2025 marks the first year of implementing the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 175 on establishing Hue as a centrally-governed municipality, along with the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Resolution No. 1314 on restructuring district- and commune-level administrative units in the newly established Hue City.

On February 22, Hue Dental Hospital (under the Department of Health) collaborated with Resurge International, Stanford University (USA), and the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery to conduct screenings for patients from Hanoi, Long An, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and other locations. This program is part of the breast reconstruction surgery week for post-cancer patients.

After surpassing nearly 100 competing teams, two teams from Hue, Eureka-Education and Ocean-Record, will represent Vietnam in the STEM Robot Championship Finals in the U.S. this April.

On February 21, the Phu Xuan District Center for Culture, Information, and Sports organized the opening ceremony and competition for the Chess and Chinese Chess Tournament, within the framework of the 1st Phu Xuan District Sports Congress in 2025.

On the afternoon of February 19th, at Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), Mr. Franck Bolgiani, Cultural Attaché and Director of the French Institute in Hanoi, visited and held discussions with the Center to strengthen cooperation in preserving and promoting Hue’s cultural heritage.

The culinary festival titled “Vietnamese Noodle Heritage - Van Cu Noodle Village” opened on the afternoon of February 18 at Van Cu Hamlet, Nam Thanh Village. This is one of the main activities to respond to the celebration of receiving the national intangible cultural heritage recognition for the “Traditional Craft - Van Cu Noodle-Making Craft”, which is scheduled to be held on February 19.

This was the topic of the second Empathic communication workshop, which featured meaningful and inspiring sharing from Minh Bon, the speaker, Director of Sao Mai Education System, Coach of the Happy Teacher Foundation, and Reporter at the Institute of Applied Psychology - Education. The workshop was organized by Hue Book and Culture Club on February 16 at the Hue Book and Culture Space (at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City).

The 6th “Hue Jogging - Running for the community” event in 2025 took place on the morning of February 16 at Phu Van Lau (Le Duan Street), attracting nearly 6,000 participants. The event featured two distances, including 5km and 10km.
