More than 1.500 students win awards in the City-level Excellent High School Student Exam

HNN.VN - The Department of Education and Training (DOET) has just announced the results of the City-level Excellent High School Student Exam for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The exam took place from October 3rd to 5th at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, attracting 3,383 participants. It included two categories - specialized and non-specialized, with exam subjects such as Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, English, French, Japanese, and Informatics.

For the specialized category, candidates included 12th grade students and a number of 10th and 11th graders from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted and Hue High School for the Gifted, Hue University of Sciences; as well as 12th grade students from other high schools who were selected for the competition teams and had good or higher academic performance and conduct.

In the non-specialized category, participants were 12th grade and some 11th grade students from high schools and continuing education centers, all with good or higher academic and conduct records in the previous school year and selected to represent their schools.

As a result, the DOET recognized 1.539 students as award winners in the 2025-2026 City-level Excellent High School Student Exam, including 26 First Prizes, 259 Second Prizes, 474 Third Prizes, and 780 Consolation Prizes.

In the specialized category, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted continued to affirm its leading position, winning all 15 out of 15 First Prizes.

In the non-specialized category, Hai Ba Trung High School ranked first with 95 prizes, including 3 First Prizes; Nguyen Hue High School earned 87 prizes, including 2 First Prizes; and Nguyen Chi Thanh High School won 67 prizes, among others.
