Students and teachers joyfully welcomed the new 2026 - 2027 academic year

In the 2026 - 2027 academic year, the city has 324 educational institutions, including 298 public educational institutions and 26 non-public educational institutions, with more than 302,000 students, learners, and preschool children. Of these, there are 107,095 primary school students, 84,832 secondary school students, 42,689 high school students, 63,931 preschool children, and 3,556 continuing education learners.

A key highlight of this year’s Opening Ceremony was that it was held simultaneously and uniformly across the city, following the directions from the Central Government and the Ministry of Education and Training.

The city’s main live broadcast site was located at the A Luoi 3 Primary and Secondary Boarding School, which was connected online to the national central broadcast site. The venue also hosted the inauguration ceremony of the A Luoi 3 Primary and Secondary Boarding School, creating a special highlight on the opening day of the new academic year.

The opening ceremony was held nationwide in a combination of in-person and online formats. It was broadcast live on VTV1 of Vietnam Television, and aired live on VOV1 of Voice of Vietnam.

Held simultaneously and uniformly nationwide, the opening ceremony for the 2026 - 2027 academic year not only marks the beginning of a new academic year, but also creates momentum, confidence, and motivation for the entire education sector to carry out its tasks and achieve its goals of improving the quality of education in the year ahead.
