Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with Hoang Sy Club as well as various dance and folk dance clubs, teams, and groups, organized the “Ao Dai Dance 2026” exchange program in response to Hue Ao Dai Week 2026.

The event is part of a series of activities within Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, attracting a great number of audiences.

The collection of Nguyen Dynasty Woodblocks currently preserved at the National Archives Center No. IV consists of 33,976 woodblocks, provisionally classified into more than 100 titles covering a wide range of subjects.

Held in the heritage setting along the banks of the Perfume River, the event featured a series of artistic performances that combined the elegance of the traditional ao dai with contemporary music and choreography.

On the morning of July 6, Hue City Museum of History opened an exhibition themed “School Ao-dai” at its headquarters at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City.

The exhibition featured the participation of nearly 20 renowned artisans and ao dai designers, including Nguyen Thi Hanh, Viet Bao, Quang Hoa, Tran Thien Khanh... along with businesses affiliated with Hue City Garment Association.

The event contributed to strengthening Hue’s image as a green, civilized, and sustainable city, with a strong commitment to environmental protection and cultural heritage preservation.

The Bach Hoa Bo Hanh event was part of Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, held on the afternoon of July 4th within Hue Imperial Citadel to promote Vietnam's traditional attire and the cultural heritage of Hue.

Organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Libraries in collaboration with Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, the Festival has attracted 26 amateur art troupes from provinces and cities across the country.

Designed as an open-air stage that encouraged community engagement, the program featured hundreds of artists, performers and models, blending ao-dai showcases with stage performances and Hue’s distinctive traditional performing arts.

The event serves as an activity to mark the opening of Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, which is held under the theme of “Connecting Heritage, Community and Creativity.”

Cultural preservation is not only spiritually significant but is also linked to the development of community-based tourism, helping create livelihoods and improve local residents’ quality of life.

The event was considered a gathering between tradition and modernity, where cultural heritage converged with ceaseless creativity.

During the 2026 - 2031 term, the club aims to strengthen its organizational structure, expand its membership, and mobilize social resources to improve its operating conditions.
