Happy Vietnam is a photo and video contest on the topic of human rights in Vietnam, which is organized annually by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC)

The contest, which is now organized for the second time, is hosted by the MIC in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. It aims to mobilize the strength of the entire people to create photos and videos as materials for communication and exhibition on human rights in Vietnam.

The contest is an opportunity for domestic people, overseas Vietnamese and international friends to show their love for the country, people, culture and nature of Vietnam. Each work is an interesting story, or a beautiful memory, which is filled with happiness; it can also be about a practical perspective on a life that is still difficult and strenuous but always full of smiles, joyness and happiness.

Contestants are Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over, with two categories including: photos and videos. Authors and groups of authors can submit their works via website https://happy.vietnam.vn

The organizing committee will accept entries from March to August 2024. The exhibition opening ceremony and the award announcement ceremony will be organized in the fourth quarter of 2024.
