The space of Kinh Do cultural - culinary experience complex

After a period of supporting businesses in research and implementation, the Kinh Do Specialty Cultural and Culinary Experience Complex at the Song Centre Hue will officially open on April 19, 2025. This event is not only a significant milestone in creating a space to honor and experience the culture and cuisine of Hue Ancient Capital but also an important mark in the promotion and business support efforts.

Song Centre Hue (formerly known as the Song Platform) used to be a four-floor complex constructed with an investment of over 1 million USD for dining, shopping, entertainment, working, and enjoying art, covering an area of 1,000m², and it came into operation in late 2023. However, after a period of operation, the space did not achieve the expected results. With the support of investors, the Center for Investment and Trade Promotion and Business Support has connected with the investors and businesses in the area to revitalize Song Centre Hue, transforming it into a space for shopping, entertainment, and experiencing the culture and cuisine of Hue.

Activities of business promotion to introduce products at Song Centre Hue

Currently, this place is under the cooperation between Kinh Do Specialty Joint Stock Company and Song Centre Hue. The complex harmoniously combines three elements: showcasing and practicing heritage; traditional cuisine, and specialty souvenirs, which offers both tourists and local residents the opportunity to explore and experience the culture and cuisine, contributing to the promotion of tourism and the local economy.

Kinh Do Specialty Cultural and Culinary Experience Complex will come into operation with three main areas, including the Gift Area, the Ao Dai Experience Area, and the Heritage Cuisine - Hue Market Area. The Gift Area will showcase and introduce Hue souvenirs, allowing tourists and locals to “bring Hue home”. Ao Dai Experience Area will feature the traditional Ao Dai tailoring process, with hands-on sewing practice and a custom-made service with delivery in just two hours, providing a familiar experience with traditional Ao dai of Hue. The Heritage Cuisine - Hue Market Area will be a place where locals can enjoy Hue specialties and participate in hands-on cooking of traditional dishes.

Hoang Nhu Thuy An’s pure world

Noticeable was the opening of the oil painting exhibition by Hoang Nhu Thuy An at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center. Hoang Nhu Thuy An is Hoang Nhu Bua’s pseudonym, born in 1948, originally from Cau Hai (Cao Do) in Phu Loc, Hue, but currently living in Da Lat. The special thing is that all those paintings were painted after his stroke culminating in hemiplegia. He has learnt to paint with his left hand since then.
