Bamboo Airways to launch Hue

After being upgraded, Phu Bai International Airport will increase its capacity to 5 million passengers/year

On October 22, the Department of Transport said that in order to meet the needs of moving and travelling, as well as to contribute to promoting investment attraction in the province, after the process of researching, evaluating and preparing resources, the Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company (Bamboo Airways - BAV) is expected to launch the routes between Hanoi - Hue and Hue - Hanoi in October with A320/1 aircrafts.

Accordingly, the scheduled flight time for the Hue - Hanoi route is at 19:30 (departure time) and the arrival time in Hanoi is 20:45. For the flight from Hanoi to Hue, the departure time is 17:30 and the arrival time is 18:45. The frequency of Hue - Hanoi and Hanoi - Hue flights is 7 flights/week.

Earlier, in the framework of the Conference on tourism development in the Central and Central Highlands took place in Hue City in February 2019, the provincial People's Committee and FLC Group Joint Stock Company signed a strategic cooperation, including researching to open new routes to Thua Thien Hue of Bamboo Airways. Bamboo Airways hopes to create more diversity and options for tourists, bringing more tourists to Hue.
