After 4 days of taking place from July 23 to 26, the program Hue - Culinary Capital 2026, which was held under the theme ‘The Day of Hue Beef Noodle’, attracted about 48,000 tourist arrivals and generated an estimated revenue of about 12 billion VND.

On the evening of July 23, at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, themed ‘Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) Day’, officially opened. The program is led by the Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, as part of Hue Festival 2026 series of events.

On July 20, Hue Central Hospital hosted the 7th Imperial City Eye Meeting 2026 (ICEM 2026) under the theme “From Fundamentals to Challenges in Surgery.” Taking place from July 20 - 22, the event brings together over 200 ophthalmologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals from Vietnam and abroad to discuss the latest advances in ophthalmology, strengthen international collaboration, and enhance the quality of eye care services for the public.

On the morning of July 11, Phong Dinh Ward People’s Committee officially launched the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2026 at Phuoc Tich Ancient Village under the theme “Traditional Ao Dai - Old Scent of the Ancient Village”.

On the morning of July 10, Hue Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Acecook Vietnam JSC, held a press conference to announce ‘Hue - Culinary Capital 2026’ program under the theme ‘Hue Beef Noodle (Bun bo Hue) Day’. The event was co-chaired by Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang.

In response to Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, on the morning of July 10, the Department of Education and Training organized a mass performance program themed “The Beauty of Ao Dai in Schools” at Phan Dang Luu High School.

“Books and Ao Dai - Nurturing Intellect and Honoring Vietnamese Identity” was the theme of an exhibition held by the City Library on the morning of July 9 at No. 29A Le Quy Don St. (Thuan Hoa Ward).

On the morning of July 6, Hue City Museum of History opened an exhibition themed “School Ao-dai” at its headquarters at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City.

On July 5, the Hue Entrepreneurs Club in Ho Chi Minh City opened the third Charity Tennis and Pickleball Tournament 2026, themed “Joining hands to support the poor, and poor and studious students”, competing for the Hue Entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City Cup.

This was the theme of a community cycling event organized by the People's Committee of Huong Tra Ward on the morning of July 5th as part of Hue Ao Dai Week 2026.
