With the theme "Hue Journalism - Accompanying the city's development," this year’s Spring Press Fair celebrates the first spring of Hue City as a centrally-governed municipality. It marks a significant event for journalists in Hue and is a meaningful activity within the series of events commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism (June 21st, 1925 – June 21^st, 2025).

The Spring Press Fair 2025 aims to highlight the innovative achievements of Hue journalism and ofthe national press. It serves as a platform for meeting between journalists and a wide audience of readers, radio listeners, and television viewers. The event strengthens the connection between journalism and local Party Committees and government authorities, providing citizens with the opportunity to enjoy passionate, creative, and engaging journalistic works during the past year.

Visitors Exploring Spring news booths at the fair

The 2025 Spring Press Fair attracted participation from 17 units, with nearly 20 booths representing press agencies, departments, units, and localities. Taking place from January 23^rd to January 26^th, the fair features over 1,200 printed newspapers, magazines, publications, and special editions; unique Tet-themed radio and television programs; and visually appealing online newspaper interfaces from central, provincial, and city-level press agencies across the nation, as well as local units and departments in Hue.

According to Chairwoman of Hue City's Journalists Association, Director of Hue Radio and Television Station, and Head of the 2025 Spring Press Fair Organizing Committee Nguyen Thi Phuong Nam, Hue has achieved remarkable and comprehensive results across various fields in recent times, with great contributions from press agencies and journalists in the area.
