On the afternoon of March 12th, the Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project in Vietnam officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with two leading tourism training institutions in central Vietnam: the School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University and Hue Tourism College. Attending the signing ceremony was Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh.

On the morning of March 10, a traditional boat racing took place on a section of the Bo River passing through the Van Cu - Nam Thanh Residential Area (Kim Tra Ward). This is one of the key highlights in the series of activities of the Ba Bun Worship Ceremony, held over two days from March 9 to 10.

Ba Bun Worship Ceremony was officially held on the morning of March 10 at Ba Bun Shrine (Van Cu - Nam Thanh residential area, Kim Tra Ward) in a solemn and reverent atmosphere. The ritual is a traditional cultural practice that embodies the Vietnamese principle of “honor the ancestors”, expressing gratitude to the forebears who founded and passed down the rice noodle-making craft to generations of residents.

On the morning of February 13, the 2026 Traditional Fishing Boat Racing, organized by Thanh Thuy Ward, took place on the Nhu Y River (at Thanh Thuy Tiled-Roof Bridge Community Tourism Site).

On the afternoon of January 2, the show “Humorous Startup Journey” was held with the startup expert Tran Thanh Tung, who is also known as Tung BT at Hue Books and Culture Space. The event attracted the participation of a large number of young people who have started, are starting, or aspire to start their own businesses…

On the evening of November 29, the Department of Tourism coordinated with relevant units, to organize a welcome event for the first flight and its passengers traveling from Shenzhen (China) to Hue City by air. On the evening of October 11th, Hue City Youth Union held a ceremony to honor recipients of the “Student with 5 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Training Criteria” titles, and the “January Star” Award for 2025 at Hue FPT Education Complex in Thanh Thuy Ward.

On the morning of August 30, Thuy Bieu Cooperative and Hue Specialty Co., Ltd. held a signing and handing over ceremony of Hue's thanh tra grapefruits.

Artisans from Thanh Lieu craft village (Hai Duong) have recently given a performance and recounted the journey of reviving and preserving the traditional art of woodblock printing passed down by their ancestors.
