Thanh Tien Paper Flower Village - the cradle of traditional paper flower craftsmanship - is not only a place that creates vibrant blossoms, but also a space where the essence of spiritual culture, skilled hands, and a deep love for national heritage are preserved and nurtured.

On the afternoon of June 10, the Ministry of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National High School Sports Tournament at Hue Stadium. On the 200th anniversary of the birthday of celebrity Dang Huy Tru (May 16, 1825 - May 16, 2025) on May 16, Hue City Museum of History in collaboration with the Executive Committee of Dang family in Thanh Luong Village and many organizations held an incense offering ceremony at the worship house of Mr. Dang Huy Tru (Huong Xuan Ward, Huong Tra Town).

On April 15th, Zhi Shan Foundation, in coordination with the Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund, and Thuan Hoa District Department of Education and Training, held the inauguration ceremony of a friendly library at Thuy Van Primary School and presented classroom book cabinets to three schools: Duong No Primary School, Phu Thanh Secondary School, and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Secondary School.

The culinary festival titled “Vietnamese Noodle Heritage - Van Cu Noodle Village” opened on the afternoon of February 18 at Van Cu Hamlet, Nam Thanh Village. This is one of the main activities to respond to the celebration of receiving the national intangible cultural heritage recognition for the “Traditional Craft - Van Cu Noodle-Making Craft”, which is scheduled to be held on February 19.

For Hue and Hue people the Thanh tra tree has been named for hundreds of years now. Over time, this speciality fruit tree is gradually degenerating and becomes weakened. Dr. La Thi Thu Hang, an expert on agriculture at University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, has succeeded in introducing “high-tech” Thanh tra trees to many gardeners in Hue.

Ancient chrysanthemums, a symbol frequently found in heritage structures, clothing, and jewelry of the Nguyen Dynasty, have left their traces but seem to have disappeared from Hue. Meanwhile, the appreciation for these flowers continues as a quiet passion among some "scholars of Ha Thanh".

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long recently signed a decision approving the plan to implement the healthcare network development strategy for the 2021- 2030 period, prioritizing the development of six hospitals to meet international standards, including Hue Central Hospital (HCH). With a 130-year tradition, Hue Central Hospital is seizing numerous development opportunities. Hue Today Weekly had an interview with Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of HCH, who shared the following insights:

I remember the first time I tried this dish was at the Thuy Bieu Thanh Tra Festival in 2022. Walking amidst the shimmering green and golden-yellow stalls of this special local fruit, I picked up a small bag of candied thanh tra peel before heading home. To this day, the flavor of that simple yet rustic treat lingers in my memory.
