Attending the ceremony at A Luoi 3 Primary and Secondary Boarding School were Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister; Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Vietnam People’s Army; and leaders of central ministries and agencies.
Representing Hue City were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee and Head of the city’s National Assembly Delegation; and Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.
Implementing the Politburo’s Conclusion Notice No. 81-TB/TW and Government Resolution No. 298/NQ-CP, Hue City has launched Phase 1 of the construction of the two inter-level boarding schools in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes. The project in A Luoi 3 Commune has a total investment of more than 178 billion VND and is designed to accommodate 1.085 students, including 160 boarders. Following an intensive construction period, with efforts from the investor and contractors and the support of local authorities and residents, the modern, well-equipped facility was completed, officially handed over and put into use in time for the new academic year.
During the event, at the moment of the nationwide opening ceremony for the new academic year connected online, Party and Government leaders, representatives of ministries and sectors, and city leaders performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the new school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh expressed his sincere appreciation to local residents, officials and communities for their support and cooperation, which enabled the projects to be completed in line with their objectives and schedules. He also acknowledged and commended the contributions of agencies, units and construction teams. City leaders further expressed their deep gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra and the Government delegation for attending the ceremony and bringing meaningful gifts for the school’s teachers and students. Their support provides tremendous encouragement for education in ethnic minority, remote and border areas.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra presented gifts from General Secretary and State President To Lam, as well as textbooks and reference books from the Government, to the teachers and students of A Luoi 3 Primary and Secondary Boarding School.
These meaningful gifts reflect the deep care and attention of the Party, State and Government leaders for the teachers and students of A Luoi 3 Primary and Secondary Boarding School, as well as for education in ethnic minority, remote and border areas.
The spacious new schools not only fulfill a long-held aspiration of highland communities, but also provide places where students’ dreams can take flight and their talents can be nurtured, contributing to the continued development of Hue and to a prosperous and happy nation.

Also, on the morning of September 5th, amid the festive nationwide atmosphere of the ‘All People Send Children to School’ day, more than 1.450 students and teachers of A Luoi 4 Primary and Secondary Boarding School in A Luoi 4 Commune held a ceremony to open the 2026 - 2027 academic year, combined with the inauguration and handover of the newly completed school facilities.
Attending the local ceremony were Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, together with representatives of city departments, agencies, armed forces and local authorities.
On this occasion, the school’s teachers and students were honored to receive meaningful gifts from Party and State leaders. Mr. Hoang Hai Minh presented 20 footballs, a gift from General Secretary and State President To Lam to the students to encourage physical exercise.
On behalf of the Government leadership, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh also presented a meaningful gift from Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister, to the school.

In addition, the Organizing Committee presented 20 scholarships from the ‘Military Officers and Soldiers Helping Students Stay in School’ project and 10 scholarships from Agribank’s A Luoi Branch to disadvantaged students who have overcome difficulties in their studies.
At the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman Hoang Hai Minh extended his congratulations and encouragement to the school’s staff, teachers and students on the occasion of the new academic year. The delegation also toured the facilities, inspecting the classrooms, boarding rooms and spacious student dining hall.
The A Luoi 4 Primary and Secondary Boarding School project has a total investment of more than VND 227.6 billion and was developed comprehensively across a large site. It includes an administrative building, primary and secondary school buildings, a multipurpose hall, separate boarding facilities for male and female students, teacher accommodation, a dining hall, sports grounds, technical infrastructure and completed landscaping. The school has also been equipped with modern teaching and learning equipment and standardized furniture, providing comprehensive facilities for the learning and boarding needs of highland students as well as suitable working conditions for staff and teachers.
