At the final round of the 8th Students with Startup Ideas competition (SV-STARTUP 2026), held from April 17th to 19th in Hanoi, the “An Vi Porridge” project by a student team from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, won Third Prize.

On April 5, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in collaboration with Kewpie Vietnam Co., Ltd. and HTV-TMS Company, organized the program “Salad first - Start your meal with vegetables”, attracting approximately 2,500 participating students.

On the afternoon of March 30th, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MicroPort MedBot (China) and Hanoi Foreign Medical (HFM) to establish the first Vietnam-China Robotic Surgery Training Center in Vietnam. On March 23rd, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University organized a career orientation program for students graduating in 2026 in an in-person format, attracting a large number of final-year students from various disciplines.

From March 24 to 26, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in collaboration with the Arpan Global (the USA), organizes a community health screening and consultation program at the university campus, the university hospital, and the City Social Work Center and Children’s Protection Fund.

At the end of each year, together with many medical schools across the country, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, holds the “Macchabée Festival - Gratitude to Those Who Donate Their Bodies to Science”. On the morning of March 8, the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital coordinated with the Youth Union of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, and the Living Blood Bank Club of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy to organize a voluntary blood donation program.
