University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University awards doctoral degrees to eight graduates

HNN.VN - On September 24th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held its Graduation and Doctoral degree award ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year, presenting degrees to eight PhD candidates who had completed their training programs and successfully defended their dissertations.

Doctoral degrees are presented to the new PhD graduates

Of the eight new PhD graduates receiving their degrees on this occasion, three specialized in Internal Medicine, one in Surgery, one in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, one in Public Health, and two in Biomedical Sciences.

All eight had completed their training programs, successfully defended their dissertations and met the required regulations. This brings the total number of PhD graduates from the university to 182.

The University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University began offering doctoral training in 1998, initially in Internal Medicine. By November 2017, the university was providing doctoral training in seven fields: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Public Health, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Paediatrics, and Biomedical Sciences.
