Free health checkups and medication provided to 200 meritorious service beneficiaries in Huong Tra
HNN.VN - On the morning of July 25th, the People's Committee of Huong Tra Ward, in coordination with Huong Tra Medical Center, organized a free health checkup, medical consultation, and medicine distribution program for more than 200 people who rendered meritorious service to the revolution in the locality.

During the event, doctors and medical staff conducted general health examinations, measured blood pressure, checked key health indicators, and provided consultations on the prevention and treatment of common illnesses among the elderly. Healthcare workers also offered guidance on appropriate nutrition and daily living habits, while prescribing and distributing free medication based on each participant's individual health condition.
Most of the beneficiaries are elderly, with declining health and chronic medical conditions. Therefore, the program not only helps detect health issues at an early stage so that timely treatment can be provided, but also contributes to improving the quality of healthcare services for policy beneficiaries within the community.
The activity forms part of a series of appreciation programs organized by Huong Tra Ward in observance of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27th). Through these initiatives, the ward continues to effectively implement the Party's and the State's preferential policies for people who rendered meritorious service to the nation, while promoting Vietnam's enduring traditions of “Den on dap nghia” (Showing deep gratitude), and “Uong nuoc nho nguon” (Never forget where you come from) through meaningful and practical actions.
