The Cooperative Fair, held by the City Cooperative Alliance over two days, January 17 -18, at the Cooperative Economy Platform (16 Nguyen Luong Bang, Thuan Hoa Ward), was not only a shopping destination, but also a vital bridge bringing clean agricultural produce, OCOP products, and local specialties closer to consumers, contributing to spreading the value of the collective economy and building trust in local agricultural products.

On the morning of January 1st, in the warm sunshine on the first morning of the new year, the area around Ngo Mon Gate of Hue Imperial Citadel became lively as the Nguyen Dynasty Ban Soc ceremony was reenacted in a theatricalized format, officially opening Hue Festival 2026. The event also marked the first festival of the year, attracting a large number of local residents and visitors.

Before the summer break, Tran Quoc Toan Primary School organized a bicycle parade called "Cycling towards Van Thanh relic" for students. Early in the morning, more than 100 students, along with many parents and teachers, cycled through the picturesque roads along the Huong River.
