Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh acknowledged the results achieved in efforts to match labor supply with demand. He also pointed out that labor market information is not regularly shared in some areas, coordination among State agencies, businesses, and training institutions remains insufficiently close, and the workforce does not fully meet the requirements of high-income markets yet.
He called on departments and local authorities to continue refining mechanisms and policies to support employment, improve workforce quality, expand training in technical and high-tech fields, and strengthen labor demand forecasts to proactively prepare a workforce for major projects in the coming years.
