On the afternoon of December 3, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) held an online conference to launch the Petrovietnam STEM Innovation Program. Hue City’s live broadcast was hosted at the headquarters of the Department of Education and Training.

Amid Hue’s unpredictable weather, there exists a quiet yet persistent “green-shirt army” - a group always ready to appear whenever a colleague is in trouble. They are the Hue SOS 247 - Grab Hue team, drivers who brave the weather day and night to rescue broken-down vehicles and help fellow riders in distress. All of it stems from one simple reason: to help one another on every road.

After many years of sustaining their lives through regular blood transfusions, many pediatric patients suffering from congenital hemolytic anemia (Thalassemia) have now found the “light at the end of the tunnel” thanks to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Hue Central Hospital. From these successful transplant cases, a door of hope has opened, bringing the children a healthy, normal life and complete joy after so many difficult days.

At the Central and Southern Vietnam finals of the STEM Robotics Robotacon WRO 2025, held recently in Ho Chi Minh City, the Eureka - Lego team from Eureka Center - Hue claimed the championship title in the B0 category for ages 6-10. With this victory, the team has officially secured a spot in the international competition in Singapore this November.

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, at the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2025), held in Paris, France from July 17th to 25th, Tran Le Thien Nhan from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted not only won a Silver Medal but was also named one of five global recipients of the “STEM for All” award presented by the Thales Group (France).

On April 25, the Department of Education and Training organized the STEM Day at primary school level for the academic year of 2024 - 2025.

On April 10, the Department of Education and Training of Thuan Hoa District organized the district-level Primary STEM Day for the academic year of 2024 - 2025.

After surpassing nearly 100 competing teams, two teams from Hue, Eureka-Education and Ocean-Record, will represent Vietnam in the STEM Robot Championship Finals in the U.S. this April.

On December 19, Hue Central Hospital held a discharge ceremony for the 3rd and 4th allogeneic bone marrow transplant patients with congenital hemolytic anemia, as well as the 40th neuroblastoma transplant patient.

The information was provided by Hue Central Hospital on September 1. This is the 35th transplant case to be discharged from the hospital and singnifies the anniversary of 35th successful autologous stem cell transplants in children.
