The “STEM for All” award is granted to students who demonstrate outstanding passion and ability in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), but face financial or social hardship.

Each national delegation participating in IPhO is allowed to nominate only one student. The application consists of a self-introduction video and a nomination letter from the team leader. The selection committee, composed of IPhO and Thales experts, chooses up to five students worldwide for the award.

Vietnam's delegation nominated Tran Le Thien Nhan. In his video submission, Nhan shared his academic journey, his passion for science, and his aspiration to contribute to a safer, greener, and more inclusive world through the application of technology. His application was highly regarded for academic performance, scientific thinking, and resilience.

Each award includes financial support worth 5,000 euros and one year of personal mentorship from Thales technology experts to guide career development in STEM fields.

The “STEM for All” award is an important stepping stone for the young student of Hue, offering greater access to international academic and technological environments, as well as the opportunity to pursue a sustainable career path in science and engineering.
