The ‘Hue Ancient Capital - Phong Nha: World Heritage Journey’ tourist train (HQ1/HQ2) has recently been launched, connecting famous destinations in Central Vietnam through an engaging rail travel experience. The new service offers a new way to connect destinations, while giving residents and visitors a wider range of options for travel and exploration.

On the morning of August 28, Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), in collaboration with Quang Tri Province People’s Committee and Hue People’s Committee, officially launched the ‘Phong Nha - Hue Imperial City: A World Heritage Journey’ tourist train at Dong Hoi Railway Station. Later that day, Hue City welcomed the train and held a ceremony to mark its arrival.

After a period of preparation, the Hue - Phong Nha heritage train will officially be launched on August 28. Notably, starting August 17, the railway sector has begun selling tickets for the HQ1/HQ2 train pair, named ‘World Heritage Journey’, connecting Hue Ancient Capital with Phong Nha - Ke Bang.

On August 13th, a delegation from the Schools of Politics and Public Administration of four Lao provinces: Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, and Savannakhet, visited and surveyed an organic farming model operated by Que Lam Group in Phong Dien Ward.

Nestled within the Hoa My Resistance Zone (Phong Dien Ward), a permanent exhibition space has officially opened its doors to visitors. Images and artifacts on display vividly recreate Hue’s land of rich revolutionary traditions within the space "Hoa My - where history left its golden traces".

On the morning of July 11, Phong Dinh Ward People’s Committee officially launched the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2026 at Phuoc Tich Ancient Village under the theme “Traditional Ao Dai - Old Scent of the Ancient Village”.

On July 9 and 10, Hue Lung Hospital, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Phong Quang Ward, launched a periodic health check-up campaign, free health examinations and screenings, and rolled out the 2026 Free Respiratory Disease Screening Program.

On the morning of June 2, the People's Committee of Phong Phu Ward, in collaboration with SCAVI Hue Company, organized the SCAVI Hue Job Fair 2026 under the theme “Connecting opportunities - Shaping the future”.

According to the Director of the Management Board of Phong Dien Nature Reserve, Mr. Le Van Huong, on the afternoon of May 17, the reserve, in coordination with Vietnam Nature Conservation Centre, deployed a camera-trap system in a targeted area to monitor wildlife and pheasant species, aiming to record population data of general wildlife as well as pheasants in particular within the reserve. Through this effort, the team recorded the presence of multiple endangered and critically endangered species.

On the afternoon of May 15th, the People’s Committee of Phong Dien Ward organized the inauguration ceremony for a centralized organic waste treatment model using Que Lam microbial products at Pho Trach Market.

On the morning of May 14, Mr. Le Van Huong, Director of the Management Board of Phong Dien Nature Reserve, said that 20 Edwards's pheasants have just been transported by air from Berlin Zoological Garden in Germany to Vietnam under an international cooperation program on nature conservation, opening up expectations for the conservation of one of Vietnam’s rare and precious species.
