On the morning of June 8, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on examination administration procedures for the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination for school administrators and teachers serving as heads and deputy heads of the examination centers, and secretaries from 37 examination venues across the city.

On the morning of June 1, the Department of Education and Training officially opened the 2026 Traditional Swimming Tournament for General Education Students of the city.

From May 18 to 20, at the City Stadium, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, organized the Athletics Championship for general education students in the city in 2026. The event took place on the occasion of the 136th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), contributing to promoting physical training movements, improving health, and enhancing the quality of comprehensive education for students across the city.

On May 16th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training organized the “Our Vietnamese Language” exchange festival for ethnic minority primary school students in the 2025-2026 school year.

On the afternoon of May 16th, at UK Academy Hue Bilingual International School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with FPT Corporation, held a ceremony to honor and present awards for the VioEdu Arena in the 2025-2026 school year.

On April 29th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training organized the primary-level STEM Festival for the 2025-2026 school year, attracting a large number of students and teachers. ​

On April 22, the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the City Department of Education and Training, organized the award ceremony and closing event for the “Global citizens, leading plastic reduction” contest.

On April 7, the Hope Foundation (FPT Group) coordinated with Nippon Paint Vietnam and the Department of Education and Training of Hue City to hold an inauguration ceremony for the “My School Makeover” project at Phu Luong Kindergarten - Dong A Campus (Phu Ho Commune).

On March 28th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the City Chess Federation and the City Sports Training and Competition Center, organized the primary school chess tournament for the 2025-2026 academic year, competing for Huong Giang Cup.

Recently, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center, held a conference to review heritage education efforts for the 2020-2025 period, while signing a cooperation program to implement the heritage education for 2026-2030.
