Closing of the training program on Hue-Singing performance skills

HNN.VN - After more than three weeks, the training program on Hue-Singing (Ca Hue) performance skills for more than 180 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, concluded on the afternoon of July 31.

The program is part of the ‘Preserving and promoting the heritage value of the art of Hue-Singing through 2030’ project, which identifies the introduction of Hue-Singing into schools as a key mission to preserve and promote the value of Hue’s cultural heritage.

Comprising 50 instructional hours, the teachers were provided with general theoretical knowledge of Hue-Singing by artists, along with practical training in the melodies of Hue folk songs and the classical repertoire of Hue-Singing. In addition, the teachers also had the opportunity to interact and perform with artists from the Hue-Singing Chamber Music Club.

The organizing committee also presented certificates to the participating teachers. After the training program, the teachers are expected to serve as ‘extended arms’ bringing Hue-Singing into schools, and helping students access, love, and take pride in their homeland’s cultural heritage, thereby raising younger generations’ awareness of preserving and promoting national heritage values.
