Pickleball tournament opens in response to Vietnam Labor Skills Day

HNN.VN - On the morning of October 3rd, Hue City Department of Education and Training opened the 2026 Pickleball Tournament at Hue Industrial College in response to Vietnam Labor Skills Day (October 4th). The tournament attracted 161 athletes from 34 agencies, units, schools and businesses.

The tournament is one of the activities organized by Hue City Department of Education and Training in response to Vietnam Labor Skills Day 2026, along with the workshop on ‘Promoting Vocational Education and Training Development in Line with Business Needs’.

Participants include officials, civil servants, public employees and workers from departments and agencies, general education schools, higher education and vocational education institutions, and businesses across the city. The athletes compete in three events: men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles, with a total of 107 pairs registered. These include 39 pairs in the men’s doubles, 25 in the women’s doubles and 43 in the mixed doubles.

The tournament provides an opportunity for officials, teachers and workers to meet and interact, while strengthening connections among agencies, units, educational institutions and businesses. It also encourages physical exercise and sports, promotes better health, and creates a lively atmosphere for activities marking Vietnam Labour Skills Day.
