Preparing to launch boarding inter-level schools

HNN.VN - On the morning of July 25, the Department of Education and Training held a working session with schools and local authorities on preparations for launching the boarding inter-level schools in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes, to ensure conditions are in place for teaching, student care and support from the beginning of the new academic year.

 The Department of Education and Training discussed effective operation of the boarding inter-level schools

At the working session, the Department of Education and Training asked relevant units to focus on discussion, finalize the operating model, and clearly define the responsibilities of the education sector and local authorities, while also ensuring all conditions are ready for the schools to open on September 5.

Under the division of management responsibilities, local authorities are responsible for administrative management and the schools’ operations, while the Department of Education and Training plays an advisory role by providing guidance, supporting staff arrangements, and standardizing operational procedures; in addition to coordinating preparations for teaching conditions, meals, semi-boarding and boarding arrangements, and student health care.

 The construction rate of the boarding inter-level schools was accelerated

At the working session, representatives from the People’s Committees of A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes and local schools raised difficulties and issues requiring support, particularly those regarding the operating model and the organization of semi-boarding and boarding models and student care.

Representatives from several schools in Thuan Hoa Ward, including Le Loi Primary School, and Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School, etc., also shared their experience in organizing semi-boarding meals, managing students, and coordinating with parents, helping the schools as they develop operating plans for the boarding inter-level school model in the border area.
