On September 23rd, a workshop on sharing experiences in implementing the Happy School Project was held in Hue City, jointly organized by the City’s Department of Education and Training, the University of Education - Hue University, and Eurasia Foundation.

On the morning of September 14, at the Youth Center (57 Lam Hoang Street, Hue City), the city's Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, organized a contest on “First aid skills, and communication on voluntary blood donation, tissue donation, organ donation and climate change”. This event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of World First Aid Day (September 13, 2000 - September 13, 2025).

Young Women’s Football Festival 2025 took place on the afternoon of September 13 at Tu Do Stadium. The event was co-organized by Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Department of Culture & Sports, the Department of Education & Training, and Hue City Football Federation.

To ensure good preparation for the Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2025 - 2026, linked to the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of the Traditional Day of Education sector, held online nationwide on the morning of September 5, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) established inspection teams on September 4. These teams were tasked with assessing the preparation and guiding the organization of the new academic year's opening ceremony at educational institutions across the city.

On August 21, at Hue High School for the Gifted, University of Sciences, Hue University, the Department of Education and Training organized a training conference on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and assessing English language at the primary level.

On August 15, at the auditorium of Hue Science High school for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City organized a specialized training session titled “AI application in teaching, testing, and evaluating English language courses” for teachers from middle schools and high schools in the area.

On July 22nd, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Union of Friendship Organizations, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, held a ceremony to present bicycles to students facing difficult circumstances in the area.

On the morning of July 18, the Department of Education and Training held a meeting of the Council for Recognition of High School Graduation in 2025.

The Department of Education and Training has just announced the second round of the admission for 10th grade at Public High schools in Hue City for the 2025–2026 academic year.

On the evening of June 12th, the Department of Education and Training announced the admission cut-off scores for Grade 6 at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School for the 2025-2026 academic year.
