Presenting Gifts to Workers Returning Home for Tet at the Airport

HNN.VN - On the evening of February 12, at Phu Bai International Airport, the City Labor Federation organized a welcome and gift-giving program for union members and workers on the “Trade Union Flight - Spring 2026,” returning home to celebrate Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

Accordingly, 65 union members and workers currently employed in southern provinces and cities returned home on a free flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue, supported by Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. These beneficiaries are workers facing difficult circumstances, many of whom have been unable to reunite with their families during the Lunar New Year for several years.

At Phu Bai Airport, leaders of the City Labor Federation personally welcomed the workers, extended New Year greetings, and presented 65 gift packages valued at VND 300,000 each to union members and employees. Warm handshakes, heartfelt wishes, and thoughtful gifts reflected the trade union’s care and solidarity with workers returning home from afar.

The “Trade Union Flight - Spring 2026” program was a meaningful activity within the Lunar New Year care campaign, launched by Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and trade unions at all levels. The program was held to ensure that every union member and worker has the opportunity to enjoy a warm and joyful Tet reunion with their families.

This activity not only provided practical material support but also offered meaningful encouragement, helping union members and workers set their mind at rest in their jobs, stay committed to production activities, and strengthen their long-term attachment to their businesses and hometowns in the new year.
