On the morning of February 5, at the Secret Affairs Institute - Tam Toa Complex (No. 33 Tong Duy Tan Street, Phu Xuan Ward), Hue Monuments Conservation Center officially opened a thematic exhibition titled “Horses and the Long Ma in Nguyen Dynasty Royal Culture” (Long Ma: dragon-horse), offering the public a culturally rich and profound exhibition space in the early days of Lunar New Year.

On the morning of February 1, at the space located at 23-25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center, in coordination with Hue Book and Culture Club, organized the “Thuan Hoa - Binh Ngo 2026” Festival under the theme “Dung dang dung de - Welcoming Spring in Joy and Good Health”.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on January 31, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, presented 400 Tet gift packages to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in An Cuu and Phu Xuan wards.

The 10th City Sports Games Billiards Tournament 2026 officially kicked off on the morning of January 31 at Quoc Vinh Billiards Club (Le Hong Phong Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). This is the 11th discipline among 18 events featured in the City Sports Games.

On the afternoon of January 29, as part of the contest “I Love My Homeland’s Seas and Islands” for the 2025-2026 academic year, the City Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and Mass Mobilization, in coordination with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, organized a working delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in My Thuong, Phu Ho, and Thanh Thuy wards and communes.

To create a joyful and vibrant atmosphere before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Horse (Binh Ngo) 2026, Thuan Hoa Ward will organize the Thuan Hoa Spring Festival Binh Ngo 2026 at Hue Book and Culture Space (23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward). The program, themed “Dung dang dung de - Welcoming Spring in joy and good health”, will take place on February 1.

As part of experiential education activities aligned with the national general education curriculum, on January 23, nearly 300 students from Hue University of Sciences High School for the Gifted visited the Museum of Nature in the Central Coastal Region (No. 5 Diem Phung Thi Street, Vy Da Ward) for study tours and hands-on learning experiences.

According to the leaders of Phong Quang, Phong Phu wards… in the early days of 2026, fishermen along the former Ngu Dien nearshore coastal area have continuously landed bumper early-season herring catches, generating substantial income after short fishing trips. As of January 21st, the total early-season herring output in the former Ngu Dien area is estimated at dozens of tons.
