On the evening of July 23, at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, themed ‘Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) Day’, officially opened. The program is led by the Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, as part of Hue Festival 2026 series of events.

On the morning of July 19th, the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward officially launched the “Digital Community Center” model, bringing digital transformation closer to residents and supporting the development of a digital society at the grassroots level.

On the morning of July 11, Phong Dinh Ward People’s Committee officially launched the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2026 at Phuoc Tich Ancient Village under the theme “Traditional Ao Dai - Old Scent of the Ancient Village”.

On the morning of July 11, Hue City People’s Committee launched the first Promotional Sales Month in 2026 at Kim Dong Park (Ha Noi St., Thuan Hoa Ward.)

On July 10, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, and Head of the city's National Assembly Delegation, visited and encouraged personnel carrying out the collection of biological samples for DNA analysis at the Hue City Martyrs' Cemetery (An Cuu Ward).

On July 9 and 10, Hue Lung Hospital, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Phong Quang Ward, launched a periodic health check-up campaign, free health examinations and screenings, and rolled out the 2026 Free Respiratory Disease Screening Program.

“Books and Ao Dai - Nurturing Intellect and Honoring Vietnamese Identity” was the theme of an exhibition held by the City Library on the morning of July 9 at No. 29A Le Quy Don St. (Thuan Hoa Ward).

On the evening of July 7, Hue Museum of Fine Arts officially opened the performance and exhibition program titled “The Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (No.17 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward).

Having withstood countless historical upheavals, tens of thousands of precious Nguyen Dynasty Woodblocks were inscribed on UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register in 2009, becoming Viet Nam’s first World Documentary Heritage. They are currently preserved under strict archival conditions at the National Archives Center No. IV in Da Lat (now located in Cam Ly Ward, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province).

From June 26 to 28, at 62 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi, the distinctive products, specialties, and cultural values of the Ancient Capital came together in the ‘Hue Thuong’ program, part of ‘The Vitality of Vietnamese Goods’ programme No. 8. The program not only brought the essence of Hue to the heart of the Capital, but also created a space connecting local products with consumers nationwide through a combination of in-person experiences and e-commerce.
