The festival provided a space for participants to exchange used items that remained in good condition, including books, textbooks, storybooks, school supplies, toys, and various other everyday necessities. The activity not only helped participants save costs but also encouraged the reuse of goods, reduced waste, and promoted a green, environmentally friendly lifestyle.

In addition to exchange and food stalls, participants enjoyed a variety of creative and educational activities, including making handicrafts from straw, painting, creating lamps and household items from recycled plastics, and experiencing an artificial intelligence (AI)-based waste sorting model. The program also offered free laptop and computer cleaning services, along with a range of interactive activities, games, and hands-on experiences for pupils and university students.

More than just a book and household item exchange event, the program aimed to spread the message of green living, promote thrift and waste reduction, and raise public awareness of environmental protection. It also served as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the university, local authorities, and the community through practical activities.

A highlight of the program was the presentation of scholarships to 20 academically outstanding students from disadvantaged backgrounds, along with support for children facing difficult circumstances in Thuan Hoa Ward. These meaningful gifts not only encouraged the recipients to continue striving in their studies but also helped foster a spirit of compassion, sharing, and community responsibility.
