On the morning of June 17th, Hue City People's Committee held a meeting and commendation ceremony for Hue Football Club following its achievement of securing one of the two direct promotion spots to compete in the National First Division for the 2026/2027 season. On the evening of June 16, the riverside stage along the Perfume River in front of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted once again drew large crowds of residents and visitors to enjoy performances as part of Hue International Music Week 2026.

From June 12 to 19, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital collaborated with Surgical Volunteers International (SVI) of the United States to carry out a humanitarian surgery program for children and adolescents suffering from congenital deformities, as well as burn and trauma-related disabilities.

Marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), Hue plans to present gifts from the State President to over 24,000 people with meritorious service and their families, with total funding reaching nearly VND 7.4 billion.

The People's Committee of Hoa Chau Ward has officially issued a plan for the organization of Hoa Chau City Trail 2026. This will be the first event of its kind in Hue, combining road running and trail running (City Trail), with the longest distance extending up to 42 kilometers.
