On June 2nd, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Care for Children organization, held a working session on the implementation of a project to strengthen family-based alternative care for children in special circumstances during the 2026 - 2028 period in Hue. The program is expected to help improve the effectiveness of child protection and care efforts, enabling children to live in safe, stable, and loving family environments.

As part of the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2026, the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program will be held in June with a series of special activities. This is not only an opportunity to promote and spread the value of Lang Co Bay, but also to create distinctive tourism products, thereby stimulating tourism demand.

On May 23rd, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted held its ceremony to review the 2025-2026 school year and honor students with outstanding achievements. On May 14th in Hue, the Journalism Professional Training Center under the Vietnam Journalists Association, in coordination with the city’s Journalists Association, organized a specialized training course titled “Applying Artificial Intelligence and Automation in Multimedia Content Production” for more than 40 reporters, editors, and communications officers. Attending the event was Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Nam, journalist, Chairwoman of the city’s Journalists Association and Deputy Director of Hue Newspaper and Radio-Television Station.

Rolling up their sleeves, preparing ingredients by hand, seasoning dishes and enjoying traditional specialties, many international visitors are discovering Hue’s culinary culture in the most intimate way possible.

On the afternoon of May 12th, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan chaired a working session on the progress and results of developing a project on special mechanisms and policies aimed at creating breakthrough development for Hue City.

The annual April 30th reunion of our middle school friends from Thanh Thuy Ward had a special highlight this year. Before heading to Vinh Thanh beach (Phu Vinh Commune), we made a detour to visit the Thuan An overpass bridge on the very day of its official technical opening. There, we shared in the joy of a large crowd of local residents who were seeing this modern bridge with their own eyes for the first time after years of waiting.

The exhibition “There is … a river” offers special emotions through the seemingly delicate yet endlessly expressive medium of watercolor painting.

In the context of declining enrollment, career guidance and admissions counseling for specialized arts programs aimed at students are considered an important stepping stone to spark interest and identify future talent.

After several attempts to “step back,” I was fortunate enough to squeeze into the packed schedule of Meritorious Physician, Level-II Specialist Dr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Director of the Phu Vang Medical Center, to hear the deeply heartfelt reflections of a physician who has spent over 30 years carrying out his mission of saving lives.
