On the afternoon of January 9, the Department of Tourism held a conference to review its work in 2025 and roll out tasks for the tourism sector in 2026.

On the morning of January 7th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online meeting to urge the rapid implementation of the “Quang Trung Campaign” to rebuild and repair houses for households whose homes were collapsed, destroyed, swept away, or severely damaged by recent storms and floods. On the afternoon of December 29th in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health held the National Conference to review health sector performance in 2025; wrap up the 2021 - 2025 term; outline directions for the 2026 - 2030 term; and deploy key tasks for 2026.

The 4th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the city, for the 2025 - 2030 term, was held on December 26. Attending the Congress were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien; Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang; along with representatives of departments, agencies, sectors, and a large number of association members.

On the afternoon of December 17, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in coordination with the Tourism Development Support Fund and the Department of Tourism of Hue City, organized the National Conference on Net Zero Tourism in Hue. Attending the event was Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

On the morning of December 5, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of its YUCHAI Engine Manufacturing and Assembly Plant (the Plant), while also rolling out the first YUCHAI engines. The event marks an important milestone in Vietnam’s strategy to master core engine manufacturing technology, as this is the first plant equipped with a modern, internationally standardized production line serving not only the automobile industry but also various other key industrial sectors.
