On May 19, in Phu Loc district, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Hue City, in coordination with Hue Central Hospital and the People's Committee of Phu Loc district, organized the opening ceremony of the 8th “Red Journey - Red Drops of Hue” program in 2025. This event is part of a series of activities in response to the nationwide blood donation campaign – the Red Journey, towards the celebration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

After the country was reunified, the Pioneering Youth force transitioned to a new mission: overcoming the consequences of war and contributing to economic development.
