Promoting an inclusive society for the advancement of the community

On March 21, in Ho Chi Minh City, Hue Association of fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City hosted an early spring reunion in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, drawing over 400 delegates, fellow countrymen, businessmen, and intellectuals from Hue who are living, studying, and working in the southern region.

Within the cultural complex of Hue, if the system of palaces and royal tombs defines the face of an Imperial capital, the villages along the lagoon and coastline preserve the depth of community life. There, heritage does not lie dormant in the past but lives on in every festival season, every daily custom, and every belief tied to the natural environment. The Cau Ngu Festival of Thai Duong village, held once every three years in January at the Thuan An seaport, is precisely such a heritage - a vibrant cultural practice where community memory, maritime knowledge, and the will to survive have woven together into an enduring whole across hundreds of years.

On the afternoon of March 13, the Youth Union of Hue City Department of Health organized a voluntary blood donation program under the theme “From White Blouses to Pink Drops of Blood”, drawing the participation of leaders and a large number of officials, civil servants, and youth union members from the health sector.

From the “bottlenecks” in project management and business operations to a drive for innovation, young businessman Dang Phuoc Toan and his partners have developed and grown CheckNow - a real-time data management platform, emerging as a new hallmark of Hue’s young businessman community on its digital transformation journey.

On February 24, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Quang Dien Commune, in coordination with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital, organized the 2026 Xuan Hong (Spring of Red) Festival with the theme “Donate a drop of blood - Give life a chance”.
