Wilmar CLV Vietnam Group donates 3.2 billion VND to support disaster relief efforts

HNN.VN - In response to the appeal from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City to support local residents in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, on November 25, representatives of Wilmar CLV Vietnam Group visited the Committee to hand over a donation of 3.2 billion VND.

At the handover ceremony, representatives of Wilmar CLV Vietnam Group expressed their sympathy for the losses and severe impacts the people of Hue City suffered during the recent floods, and presented a support package of 3.2 billion VND, including 1.5 billion VND in cash and 3,000 gift sets worth 1.7 billion VND, to help the city recover from the disaster.

On behalf of the leaders of Hue City, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, sincerely thanked Wilmar CLV Vietnam Group for their timely and valuable support. She emphasized that these resources will help the authorities and residents recover from the recent floods. She also affirmed that the City’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will allocate and distribute the aid funds to affected localities and households as quickly as possible, ensuring effective and transparent use of the support to help people stabilize their lives after the disaster.

Also at the gift-giving ceremony, Chairwoman of the City’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Ai Van presented Wilmar CLV Vietnam Group with a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee and a “Golden Heart” certificate from Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
