On the afternoon of July 21, Hue Central Hospital held a special discharge ceremony for four pediatric patients who had successfully undergone bone marrow transplants. Among them, three children with Thalassemia received allogeneic transplants, and one underwent the hospital’s 50th autologous transplant. This event not only marks a major advancement in medical expertise but also serves as vivid evidence of the tireless efforts of doctors and medical staff to provide better survival chances and quality of life for children with serious illnesses.

According to Hue City People’s Committee Office, between July 1st and 14th, 2025, Hue City received and processed 17.710 administrative procedure applications across 40 communes and wards, with an online submission rate of 75,78%.

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. The dedication of civil servants and volunteers, along with the application of technology, has made a positive impression, helping residents quickly adapt to the administrative procedures under the new two-tier local government system.

On the afternoon of May 21, the leader of Phu Bai International Airport announced that Terminal T2 at Phu Bai International Airport in Hue City was honored with the Gold Award in the category of “Special Architectural Works”. It also received the “For the Development of Architecture” award at the 2024 - 2025 National Architecture Awards ceremony held on the evening of May 20 in Hanoi.

On the morning of May 20, at Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, Hue Monuments Conservation Center solemnly received two casual ao dai that belonged to Empress Dowager Tu Cung. Ms. Cong Ton Nu Kim Chi (currently living in the US) authorized Mr. Pham Xuan Cuong to present them.

On May 12th, forest ranger units received a Javan pangolin, two elongated turtles, and a pygmy slow loris from citizens who voluntarily surrendered the animals.

On May 10, the Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan inter-district Forest Protection Department received a rare and precious water dragon from a citizen who voluntarily handed it over.

Ho Dac Cung, a young Hue native raised in Cai Lay, Tien Giang, developed a passion for engine mechanics and, through self-teaching, built his own airplane. In 1935, faced with financial constraints, he wrote to Emperor Bao Dai seeking assistance and received the monarch’s approval.

According to the Provincial Forest Protection Department, on December 31, the forest rangers received a critically rare and endangered pangolin from a citizen who voluntarily handed it over via the hotline.

On the afternoon of December 3rd, 2024, Hue University held a ceremony to announce the decision and award certificates recognizing educators and visiting lecturers of Hue University as having achieved the title of Associate Professor.
