MB supports Hue with 3 Billion VND for post-disaster recovery
HNN.VN - On the afternoon of November 24th, Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee - Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, together with leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hue City, received disaster-relief support from the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB).

Representatives of MB presented 3 billion VND through Hue City VFF Committee to join hands with the locality in overcoming the consequences of the recent floods and helping residents stabilize their lives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Phan Quy Phuong expressed gratitude for MB’s meaningful contribution during the city’s difficult time, helping affected households recover after the flooding. The VFF Committee, as the coordinating body, will promptly allocate and distribute the funds to localities and families suffering damage from the disaster.

The city also emphasized the importance of closely supervising and guiding families to use the resources effectively to restore daily life. City leaders affirmed their commitment to accompany businesses, resolve difficulties, and create favorable conditions for enterprises operating in Hue to stabilize production and contribute to socio-economic development.
Previously, Hue City VFF Committee had received support from many organizations, businesses, and individuals in both cash and in-kind donations to help the city recover from flooding. As of November 24th, the VFF Committee has received hundreds of tons of goods, essential supplies, and approximately 150 billion VND in contributions.
