VietinBank donates 5 Billion VND to support Hue City residents in overcoming natural disaster impacts
HNN.VN - On December 6th, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) provided financial support to help residents of Hue City recover from the damage caused by the recent floods. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, received and worked with the delegation.

At the reception, VietinBank representatives handed over 5 billion VND through Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City to support residents in affected areas to recover from the consequences of the flooding.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Le Phan Quynh Huong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of VietinBank’s Hue Branch, shared that with the spirit of “Connecting Love - Overcoming Hardship Together”, VietinBank has always accompanied Hue City’s development and social welfare efforts. This funding aims to help residents partially overcome losses, restore the local economy, and stabilize their lives after the historic floods that occurred in late October and early November.
Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City Nguyen Chi Tai expressed gratitude for VietinBank’s meaningful contribution during a challenging time for the locality, helping the people of Hue City recover from the aftermath of the flooding. He affirmed that the Fatherland Front Committee of the city, as the coordinating body, will promptly allocate and transfer this amount to each locality. The donated funds will be used for the right purposes, delivered to the right beneficiaries, and distributed to residents as quickly as possible.
