On the evening of December 18, in Hue City, a ceremony was held to officially receive the national intangible cultural heritage title for folk knowledge related to Bun Bo Hue (Hue Beef Noodle Soup), alongside the opening of the International Culinary Festival “Hue - Culinary Capital”.

On December 12, at the Presidential Palace, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan had a meeting and commendation ceremony for the national team of students who won awards at the International Olympiad and International Science and Engineering Fair in 2025.

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.

On December 6th, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) provided financial support to help residents of Hue City recover from the damage caused by the recent floods. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, received and worked with the delegation.

On the afternoon of December 3, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) held an online conference to launch the Petrovietnam STEM Innovation Program. Hue City’s live broadcast was hosted at the headquarters of the Department of Education and Training.

On the afternoon of November 24th, Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee - Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, together with leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hue City, received disaster-relief support from the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB).

On the afternoon of November 21, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, held a courtesy meeting with Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada, Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the conclusion of her tenure in Vietnam.

On November 19th, leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received donations from representatives of Mitani Sangyo Group, who visited Hue City and presented 200 million VND to support Hue people in recovering from the recent flood.

On the afternoon of November 14th, at 119 Van Xuan, Hue City Red Cross, in coordination with Kim Long Ward People’s Committee and the Ward Fatherland Front Committee, distributed 100 relief packages to local residents heavily impacted by the recent floods. This is one of the activities under the emergency support program currently being implemented across the entire city.

After more than a month of launching, the preliminary round of 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest received over 19.700 entries from 132 primary, secondary, and high schools across Hue City.
