Accompanying visually impaired women

On July 29, the City Women’s Union, in coordination with the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, provided livelihood support to women members from poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in Binh Dien Commune.

On the afternoon of June 21st, Hue City Women's Union coordinated with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Foundation (Germany) to organize a training program on applying policy dialogue skills in practice for women's union officials and members.

Thanks to AI training programs integrated with sales skills, content creation, and the use of digital tools, the lives of many visually impaired individuals have improved significantly. From having limited access to technology, they are gradually mastering digital tools, improving their livelihoods, and confidently participating in the digital economy.

On the morning of April 16, Hue City Association of the Blind organized a seminar to commemorate the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to the School for Blind War Veterans (1956 - 2026), the 57th anniversary of the Establishment of the Vietnam Blind Association (April 17, 1969 - April 17, 2026), and the 28th anniversary of Vietnam Disability Day (April 18, 1998 - April 18, 2026).

Amid the rhythm of modern life, as fashion becomes increasingly diverse and is constantly changing, the traditional ao-dai continues to remain a lasting presence in the lives of women in the former imperial capital. In Hue, the graceful image of women’s association members wearing Ao-dai is not only a symbol of beauty but also a way of preserving and spreading the traditional cultural values of their homeland.
