The People's Committee of Hue City has just issued a plan to organize the "Thuan An - Call of the Sea 2024" program at Thuan An Beach, Thuan An Ward, Hue City.

On the afternoon of April 3, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hosted a courtesy reception for the US Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Marc E. Knapper. The courtesy reception was also attended by the representatives of leaders from relevant departments and branches.

On the morning of March 26th, Vietnam Railways Corporation, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, and Da Nang City People's Committee jointly organized the inauguration of a tourism train service between Hue and Da Nang, named “Connecting Central Heritages.”

On the morning of March 23, at Trinh Cong Son Park, Hue City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hue City Traditional Boat Racing Competition, aiming to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Sports sector, and the 49th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue's liberation day. This is also one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2024.

On the morning of March 21st, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had courtesy meeting with a delegation from the Foreign Affairs Department of Nara prefecture – Japan, headed by Mr. Hitomi Tatsuya, Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of Nara prefecture.

On the morning of March 16th, the People's Committee of Hue City, in coordination with the Forest Protection Department, the Management Board of “Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation” (VFBC) Technical Support Project, and the Implementation Unit of WWF-Vietnam Biodiversity Conservation Component, organized a ceremony to launch the “Action for Wildlife” Campaign.

On the afternoon of March 14th, at the Provincial People's Committee office, Vietnam Airlines signed a sponsorship agreement with the Organization Board of Hue Festival 2024, officially becoming the primary carrier for the event, with a sponsorship amounting to 1.2 billion Vietnamese dong.

Early on the morning of March 15th, at the Xa Tac Esplanade (Thuan Hoa ward, Hue City), Hue Monuments Conservation Center solemnly organized the Xa Tac Ritual 2024 to pray for national prosperity, favorable weather, abundant harvests, and the well-being of the people.

On March 14, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with a working group from Vietnam Railway Corporation on the preparation to put the Hue - Da Nang railway route into operation.
