The inaugural Van Xa “Steps of Ancient Fragrance” Race 2025, organized by the People’s Committee of Huong Van Ward (Huong Tra Town), will be kicked off on the morning of April 27th. As of April 24th, over 2,000 runners have registered, making it the local race with the highest number of participants ever recorded.

On the afternoon of April 8, Hue City People’s Committee held a sponsorship contract signing ceremony for the National Tourism Year 2025 and Hue Festival 2025 with Vietnam Airlines Corporation – Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Company.

On April 6, at the regular Government meeting and the online conference between the Government and local authorities, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX) and the Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS) for 2024, applicable to ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities.

On the afternoon of March 27th, at Hue City People’s Committee, the organizing committee of Hue Festival 2025 held a signing ceremony for the sponsorship contract with DOJI Gold, Silver, and Gemstone Group Joint Stock Company, awarding them the title of “Diamond Sponsor” for sponsoring 5 billion VND to Hue Festival 2025.

According to the plan recently issued by the People's Committee of Hue City, the 45th General Assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF) in Hue is expected to be held for three days (from April 27 to April 29, 2025).
