From December 5th to 7th, at UK Academy Hue, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) organized training sessions on digital transformation in teaching, assessment, and school management, focusing on the use of the LMS360 system and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational activities.

On the morning of December 6, at Quang Trung Primary School (Thuan Hoa Ward), the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with Loc Thinh Co., Ltd., organized a program to present helmets to first grade students in the academic year 2025-2026.

On the morning of December 5, Hue City Union of Science and Technology Associations, in coordination with Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Hue University, organized a forum themed “Promoting Hue’s Young Intellectuals to Thrive in Global Integration”.

On December 4th, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Hanoi, organized the 2025 Dialogue Program under the theme: “Cooperation in Journalism - Communication Training in the Post-Digital Context.”

The 8th ASEAN Heritage Parks Conference (AHP8) was hosted by Vietnam in Ha Long (Quang Ninh) from December 2 to 5, organized through the Department of Nature Conservation and Biodiversity, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. At this event, Bach Ma National Park was honored to be presented with the ASEAN Heritage Park certificate.

During a career orientation session at Byron Nelson High School in Texas, USA, my daughter and I had the opportunity to experience an exceptionally well-organized Culinary Arts vocational training model. In the U.S. education system, students are guided toward basic career paths as soon as they enter middle school, preparing them for vocational training in high school if they choose not to pursue a university pathway.

On the morning of December 3, Vietnam Social Security, in collaboration with sponsors, the City’s Social Security Office, and local Party committees and authorities, organized the distribution of health insurance cards to residents in difficult circumstances in Nam Dong Commune.

On the morning of December 2nd, the Department of Overseas Labor Management, the Center for Overseas Labor, and the Overseas Employment Support Fund (Ministry of Home Affairs), in coordination with the Department of Home Affairs, organized a training session to enhance the capacity of officials and communicators responsible for introducing, mobilizing, and advising workers (laborers) as well as their families on overseas employment under contract.

On the afternoon of December 2, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, held an official meeting with ISET organization (The U.S), led by Mr. Michael Szönyi, Director of the Climate Resilience Alliance, Z. Zurich Foundation, and Ms. Karen Mac Clune, Executive Director of ISET in the U.S.

Under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Hue City People’s Committee, and Hue City Department of Tourism, the organizing unit - BamBoo Artists Agency - has introduced the large-scale Hue Mega Concert event series.
