On June 3, at Ly Tu Trong Park in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City Department of Health, in coordination with the City’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, the Social Work and Child Protection Center, together with various units, organizations, and benefactors, organized the “Festival for children in special circumstances 2026”. The event aimed to provide meaningful encouragement to hundreds of children in difficult circumstances across the city on the occasion of the Action Month for Children 2026.

On June 2nd, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Care for Children organization, held a working session on the implementation of a project to strengthen family-based alternative care for children in special circumstances during the 2026 - 2028 period in Hue. The program is expected to help improve the effectiveness of child protection and care efforts, enabling children to live in safe, stable, and loving family environments.

On the morning of June 2, the People's Committee of Phong Phu Ward, in collaboration with SCAVI Hue Company, organized the SCAVI Hue Job Fair 2026 under the theme “Connecting opportunities - Shaping the future”.

On June 1st, Hue City Association of the Blind, in collaboration with Sao Mai Center for the Blind, organized a training program on job application preparation and teamwork skills for visually impaired students, university students, and young association members in the locality.

As part of its tourism promotion and air route development mission in China, on June 1, a delegation from Hue City attended the “Vietnam-China Aviation and Tourism Connectivity” program, organized by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) in Shanghai, China.

On June 1, on the occasion of International Children's Day, the Charity and Social Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, organized the Children’s Day program 2026 for children in difficult circumstances from ethnic minority communities.

On the morning of May 31st, Hue City Youth and Children Center organized the opening ceremony for its 2026 summer activities program and Hue City Children’s Festival.

As part of the celebrations for Vesak 2570 (Buddhist Era) and Hue Festival 2026, the Vegetarian Food Festival - Hue Festival 2026 officially opened on the afternoon of May 28th (the 12th day of the fourth lunar month) at the riverside area along the Perfume River. The event is jointly organized by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City and the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2026.

On the morning of May 29, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” (TVA) project/WWF-Viet Nam, organized the event “From Check-in Green Hue to Plastic-Free Tourism - A Journey of Spreading”.

On the evening of May 29, at Bao Vinh Ancient Town (Hoa Chau Ward), the City People's Committee organized the launching ceremony for the Action Month for Children 2026 under the theme “Happy and safe children confidently stepping into the digital era”.
