On the afternoon of April 26, at the exhibition space on the 2nd floor of Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition themed “The odyssey of Vietnamese ceramics”. This event is part of Hue Festival 2025 and the National Tourism Year 2025.

The inaugural Van Xa “Steps of Ancient Fragrance” Race 2025, organized by the People’s Committee of Huong Van Ward (Huong Tra Town), will be kicked off on the morning of April 27th. As of April 24th, over 2,000 runners have registered, making it the local race with the highest number of participants ever recorded.

On the afternoon of April 25, the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Thuan Hoa District, in collaboration with Hue City branch of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, organized the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition themed “Hue - A city bursting out with vitality”.

On April 25, the Department of Education and Training organized the STEM Day at primary school level for the academic year of 2024 - 2025.

On April 21, Hue Dental Hospital, in collaboration with Operation Smile, organized a humanitarian medical examination and treatment team integrated into School Dental Health program in Huong Tra Town and Phu Vang District.

On the morning of April 19, a special event titled “Hue - Pioneer in Green Heritage Tourism Development and Bicycle City" took place at the Noon Gate Square - Hue Imperial Citadel. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC), and representatives of the GCOO brand in Vietnam – VietPM.

On April 19th, a special event titled “Hue – Developing green heritage tourism and a bicycle city” will take place at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel. The event is jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, VietPM (representative of GCOO brand in Vietnam), and Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).

Hue Students Football Tournament 2025, competing for the Ba Na Hills Cup, kicked off in the afternoon of April 15 at the football field of Phu Xuan District’s Culture, Information & Sports Center (150 Nguyen Trai Street). The tournament is jointly organized by Hue University and Professional Sports Association and School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University.

On the morning of April 15, in Hanoi, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam in collaboration with the Center for Community Support and Development Studies (CECODES) organized a conference to announce the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) for 2024.

As part of the plan to organize the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the spring festival - “Spring of the Ancient Capital” has many unique programs and activities. Not only are there festival activities in the city center, but in the land on the majestic Truong Son mountain range, the “Spring Colors of A Luoi Highlands” festival would create more highlights and impressions for visitors to Hue this March.
