Addressing the program, Colonel Nguyen Huu Thanh, Secretary General of the Military Business Association, said that the activity was held to support and encourage people affected by prolonged storms and flooding, as well as Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of wounded soldiers and revolutionary martyrs facing difficult circumstances. He noted that the initiative was a practical and meaningful effort reflecting the spirit of mutual support and solidarity, contributing to strengthening the close bonds between the military and the people and to promote the noble qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.

According to Colonel Nguyen Huu Thanh, natural disasters in 2025 caused severe damage and significantly affected people’s lives, particularly in Hue. Driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, the Military Business Association, together with enterprises under the Ministry of National Defense, joined hands to mobilize resources to support residents in overcoming these hardships.

Hooves Opening New Paths

In East Asian culture, horses are not merely a means of transport but a cultural symbol. In Hue during the Nguyen Dynasty, the presence of horses accompanied ceremonial processions and imperial carriages. Even today, that image endures on two bronze urns of the Nine Dynastic Urns - Huyen Dinh and Anh Dinh (the alias of Tu Duc) - like a layer of resilient metallic memory, reminding us that horses once played a role in the life of the former imperial capital.
