On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on the evening of February 2, Hue City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City organized a Spring Reception to meet, congratulate, and express gratitude to diplomatic agencies, international organizations, investors, experts, and friends, who have partnered and cooperated with the locality over the past years.

The “Restructuring the Tourism Sector to Meet the Requirements of Becoming a Key Economic Sector” plan, approved under Decision No. 1685/QD-TTg dated December 5th, 2018 by the Prime Minister, has established an important policy framework for the comprehensive renewal of the tourism sector. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, along with leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities.

On the afternoon of December 22, a delegation from the Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van, had an official meeting with Hue City People’s Committee on the implementation of smart city development in the city area.
